Features and Functions

The PERS-3600B offers advanced capabilities as the hub of a wireless Personal

Emergency Reporting System, and can be used with the full suite of Linears DXS

wireless personal transmitters and accessories. The table-top Console features

a built-in speakerphone and digital communicator for reporting and two-way

voice communication with the Central Monitoring Station. Advanced, full-duplex

speakerphone circuitry provides superior two-way voice communication throughout

the Los Angeles and California homes.

Simple Operation

Pushbutton Emergency Assistance – A button press on the Console or

wireless transmitter automatically places a call to the Emergency Monitoring

Center, staffed 24 hours a day by trained professionals. Operators then notify

pre-selected contacts to respond in specific situations.

Multiple Zone Capability Capacity for up to 16 individual sensors.

Can provide emergency reporting for multiple users, and/or household

monitoring functions.

Silent Alarm and Alarm Tones – Provides silent alarm capability (as panic

button for domestic violence applications) and separate tones for emergency,

fire and CO conditions.

Built-In Activity Timer Monitors household activity when turned on (system

default is off). Set for 8, 12 or 24-hour operation, the emergency alarm will

trigger automatically if the time set elapses before an activity transmitter is

triggered, or before the Consoles HOME button is pressed.

Flexible Reporting Options Console routes reports to any of three

programmed telephone numbers, primary, secondary or supervisory.

Personal Wireless Transmitters Effective signal coverage extends

throughout the house and outdoors

Extensive Audio Capability

Easy to Use Console Console speaks to the subscriber in clear, natural

language during set-up and system operation.

Two-Way Voice Capability Users talk directly to Emergency Monitoring

Center professionals via 2-way voice activated, 2-way manual, or 1-way,

listen-only audio communications.

Remote Call-in Feature For Speakerphone Operation Subscriber can

answer the phone with a pendant press. Family members or caregivers can

also enter a PIN code to start a speakerphone call if the client can’t reach

their phone or pendant.

Reminder Messages Plays 15-second audio messages, recorded locally

in a family member’s voice, to remind subscribers to take medications, call

someone, get ready for an appointment, etc.

Supervision and Test

Full System Auto Test – The Console can be programmed to monitor all

zones for proper operation, and can provide a periodic test report to the

monitoring station on a 1, 7 or 30 day interval.

Transmitter Status Reporting & Supervision Optional status reporting

mode allows the transmitter to be paired with zone supervision at the

Console for automatic sensor status trouble reporting.

Console-Supervised Battery Recharging If the backup battery becomes

low, the POWER light will flash and the condition can be reported to the

central station.

Transmitter Low Battery Monitoring – Under normal operating conditions,

the transmitter detects low battery voltage and provides a status report to

its console.

Effortless Installation

• Easy Installation and Programming Set up is made easy by Linears RA-2400

remote access software.

Tested for Reliability – UL listed as Home Healthcare Signaling Equipment per

Standard 1637.

Options For Expanded Utility

Installation and use of a variety of optional equipment broadens the

PERS-2400Bs utility.

Smoke Detector

• The DXS-73 Supervised Photoelectric Smoke Detector will sound a loud

alarm when smoke is detected, Twenty seconds after the local alarm sounds,

the built-in transmitter sends a digitally coded wireless signal to the PERS

console. The wireless signal will be repeated every 20 seconds as long as

smoke is still present.

Carbon Monoxide Detector

• The DXS-80 Carbon Monoxide Detector will initiate an automatic call to the

Emergency Monitoring Center. Warning tones will be sounded by the console

and the detectors will alert the subscriber, even during sleep.

Versatile personal transmitters

can be worn as a pendant,

wrist band or clipped to a

belt or pocket.
